Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is committed to caring for you as a whole person—body, mind and spirit. Behavioral health, or the way actions and habits impact a person's mental and physical well-being, is an important part of your overall health.
In offices throughout the area, our compassionate providers offer counseling, psychiatry, and other treatments for a wide range of conditions, including addiction and depression. We also work closely with Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital, a partnership between Lancaster General Health and Universal Health Services, Inc.
If you are experiencing a behavioral health emergency that needs immediate help, please call 911, go to the nearest emergency department, or call crisis hotline 988 or Lancaster County Crisis Intervention at 717-394-2631.
Behavioral health experts work collaboratively to provide the best care for each patient in our inpatient and outpatient settings.
Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health offers a broad array of behavioral health services with an aim to provide the right care at the right place at the right time. Our team of physicians, counselors, therapists, nurses and other health-care professionals address potentially life-threatening disorders, such as substance use, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and severe depression, along with less debilitating but common conditions, such as anxiety and less severe mood disorders.
