Drs. Gerald Rothacker and Harold Mohler retire

J. Harold Mohler, M.D.

Gerald W. Rothacker Jr., M.D., has retired after 35 years with Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster.
 
Dr. Rothacker specialized in total joint replacement and shoulder surgery. A graduate of Muhlenberg College and Hahnemann Medical College, he completed an internship at Lancaster General Hospital and a residency at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine.
 
He chaired the Department of Surgery at Lancaster General Hospital from 1989 to 1991 and served on the LG Health Board of Trustees.
 
Dr. Rothacker also is a founding member of the Auscultation Brass band.

 
J. Harold Mohler, M.D., has retired after 35 years with Lancaster Internal Medicine Group/General Internal Medicine.
 
Dr. Mohler, a Lancaster County native, is a graduate of Millersville University and Temple University School of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine residency and fellowship in nephrology at The Cleveland Clinic.
 
He later mentored and partnered with Drs. Carlos Sanchez and Tom Ruth, and collaborated with Hypertension & Kidney Specialists. He chaired the LGH Department of Medicine from 1994 to 1995.
