Jayne Van Bramer

Jayne Van Bramer has been named Chief Executive Officer of Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital. Van Bramer will lead the new 126-bed behavioral health facility, which is currently under construction and expected to open in summer 2018.

Van Bramer recently served as the Vice President of Behavioral Health at Brandywine Hospital in Coatesville.
The Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital, which LG Health will operate in partnership with Universal Health Services, is located in Lancaster’s Northwest Gateway, near Franklin & Marshall College.
“We are excited for Jayne’s extensive expertise in successfully leading a complex facility like this, consistent with our high standards,” said Jan Bergen, President & CEO, LG Health. “She will serve as a true champion for the growing and diverse range of essential behavioral-health services we’re bringing to our region.”

LG Health nurses nominated for state award

Three Lancaster General Health nurses were finalists for this year’s Nightingale Awards of Pennsylvania, which honor exceptional nurses.
Tina Hedgepeth, staff nurse, IV team; Wendy Wintersgill, clinical nurse specialist; and Katrina Fetter, oncology clinical nurse specialist; were recognized for their commitment to providing high-quality patient care and determination to make a difference in their patients' lives and the greater community.
The three nurses attended the Nightingale Award Gala, where they were recognized for their extraordinary contributions to the nursing profession.

LG Health Physicians Podiatry opens new Lancaster location

LG Health Physicians Podiatry recently closed its Quarryville location and opened a new location at the LG Health Suburban Pavilion, 2108 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster. The Parkesburg office remains open.

Save the date for the Quality and Competency Fair


LG Health will host the Quality and Competency Fair in December and January. The fair will take place Dec. 15 in the Stager Conference Center at LGH and Jan. 9 in the conference rooms at Women & Babies Hospital.
The event will include First 5's, the MyHealthyLiving station, quality product vendors, POCT training, FIT testing, education stations and snacks. There will be competency signoffs for nursing and support staff.
