Quick hits: Dr. Bayliss honored for service to bereaved parents

Philip M. Bayliss, M.D., received the Caregiver of the Year Award at Share of Lancaster’s annual gala Oct. 28. The award is given to a person who provides exceptional service to parents who have experienced a pregnancy loss.

Dr. Bayliss, who practices at LG Health Physicians Maternal Fetal Medicine, was honored for serving bereaved parents with “dignity, kindness, compassion and understanding.”
 

Physicians share expertise in media interviews

Jeffrey R. Martin, M.D., who chairs the Lancaster Partnership on Public Health, was quoted in an LNP story on Lancaster’s efforts to protect children from lead. Dr. Martin practices at LG Health Physicians Family & Maternity Medicine.
 
Nitin K. Tanna, M.D., was interviewed by ABC 27, Blue Ridge Cable 11 and LNP on the “Pink Patch” project to raise funds for the Suzanne Arnold Center for Breast Health.
 
Dr. Tanna also spoke to Cable 11 about mammography compliance in Lancaster County and male breast cancer. Dr. Tanna, who practices at Lancaster Radiology Associates, is LGH’s Division Chief of Mammography.
