Radiation oncologists join LG Health Physicians

Radiation oncologists at the Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute have joined Lancaster General Health Physicians.

LG Health Physicians Radiation Oncology, 2102 Harrisburg Pike, uses leading-edge technologies to treat cancer and other diseases with radiation, or high-energy X-rays. Physicians Kenneth G. Berkenstock, MD, and Kishor Singapuri, MD, are board-certified radiation oncologists who have practiced locally for 20 years and 16 years, respectively, and at the Cancer Institute since its opening.

Berkenstock and Singapuri bring clinical expertise, as well as compassionate care to our patients, and are integral members of our comprehensive cancer team.”

LG Health Physicians Radiation Oncology offers a full spectrum of radiation therapy technologies, including two True Beam linear accelerators, TomoTherapy, CyberKnife M6 and a high dose rate brachytherapy unit. This enables the physician to choose the best technique for the patient, using stereotactic radiosurgery, stereotactic radiotherapy, 3D conformal treatment, intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) or brachytherapy.
