William A. Fife Jr., M.D., received the Henry S. Wentz, M.D., Award at the recent Lancaster General Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program graduation ceremony.
The award, named in honor of the former chair of the Department of Family and Community Medicine, is given to a member of the LGH Medical & Dental Staff who has excelled in medical education, teaching, patient care, and service to the hospital and community.
Three Physicians Elected to Local Medical Society Board
The Lancaster City and County Medical Society has named three new members to its board of directors.
They are Cameron G. Moore, M.D., MPH, and Kevin Robertson, M.D., both family medicine residents at Lancaster General Hospital, and Robin M. Hicks, D.O., a palliative medicine physician at UPMC Pinnacle.
LGH Family Medicine Residency Program Celebrates 50th Anniversary
The Lancaster General Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program will celebrate its 50th anniversary with events Friday and Saturday, Sept. 13 and 14. Program alumni (residents or faculty) are invited to attend.
Events will include:
- Reunion Roast Night and Story Slam, 6:30 to 9 p.m. Friday, Stager Conference Center, Lancaster General Hospital
- Alumni Symposium, 8 a.m. to 2:10 p.m. Saturday, Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences
- Celebration Dinner, 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Lancaster Marriott
