Learn new skills for caring for seriously ill patients while earning free CME/CEUs: Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is a member of the Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC). This membership provides our entire staff (anyone with an LG Health email address) with access to a series of online educational modules that focus on relieving suffering in serious illness – from difficult conversations, to advanced care planning, to symptom management and beyond. The courses are case-based, interactive, and provide free CME/CEU credits for physicians, physician assistants, nurses, case managers, and social workers. Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative, Internet Enduring Materials: Lancaster General Women & Babies Hospital is renewing its Baby Friendly designation. All physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants who are involved in any aspect of maternal or newborn care must complete three hours of breastfeeding education. We’ve made these available online so you can complete them anytime and also receive CME credit. Click here and search “BFHI” to find the three modules via our CME On Demand portal. Completion of these specific modules will show in your eeds transcript. To determine if you completed these three hours in the previous Baby Friendly designation cycle, please contact Laura Henry, LSHenry@lghealth.org.
