As part of Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health’s mission to advance the health and well-being of the community by reducing tobacco and nicotine use, the health system will partner with Lancaster Parking Authority (LPA) on Take Down Tobacco Day, March 18.
During the national day of action, the community is encouraged to drop off their tobacco and nicotine products at the following Lancaster City locations as part of the Park Your Butts Here campaign.
Individuals who drop off their nicotine devices and products will receive a reusable tote bag filled with resources that outline how to quit tobacco, $5 in Downtown Dollars, ear buds, a pen and an air freshener.
LG Health and LPA have partnered in the past to improve the well-being of LPA employees and community members who use LPA facilities by creating a tobacco-free policy for all LPA facilities. Click here to learn more.
