Treatments for Skin

Woman's skin

Your skin is your largest and most visible organ, so of course you want to keep it healthy and looking good. We can help.

Laser surgery offers options for hair reduction, skin tightening, or brown spot and facial redness removal. Lasers also allow us to remove birthmarks, spider veins, warts and scars.

We use a variety of techniques to remove cancerous and non-cancerous lesions and treat other skin conditions. We can also minimize the appearance of scars from acne, surgery or trauma, sun damage, and irregular pigment.

Microneedling is a new innovation in aesthetics medicine that improves the skin’s appearance by shrinking pores and lifting, tightening and rejuvenating the skin to treat fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, and stretch marks.

Before this treatment, we numb your skin topically for 30 minutes. During the procedure, our aesthetician uses tiny needles to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin in order to produce collagen and elastin. The skin’s repair process results in thicker dermis, with the appearance of softer wrinkles and fresher looking skin, within 24 hrs.

Chemical peels (light, medium and deep) can enhance the appearance of your skin by reducing the appearance of fine lines, brown spots, acne, and acne scarring. Chemical peels are topically applied acids that aid in restoring and rejuvenating the skin’s surface, leaving you with fresh, smooth skin almost immediately after your first treatment.

Microdermabrasion is an exfoliation treatment that helps eliminate dead skin cells and promotes cell regeneration and collagen creation. It is a good compliment to chemical peels. Microdermabrasion treatments are non-invasive, pain-free, and require no downtime after treatment.

Treatments for the Face

You want to put your best face forward. Maybe that means turning back the clock a few years with a facelift or dermal fillers such as JUVÉDERM Voluma® or Radiesse. These non-surgical treatments can help reduce unwanted creases in the cheeks and around the mouth. BOTOX® is effective in reducing wrinkles on the forehead, between the eyebrows, and around the eyes.

And speaking of eyes, rather than being a window to your soul, are yours telling the world you are older and more tired than you really are? Cosmetic eye surgery can make a big difference, removing puffiness or bags under the eyes, and correcting droopy eyelids.

Our team can help you evaluate these and other procedures like rhinoplasty (“nose job”), brow lift, facelift, and neck lift, to find the option that is best for you.

Treatments for the Body

Woman's body

Gaining and losing weight through the cycle of life or events like pregnancy or bariatric surgery, can stretch muscles and skin and cause sagging. Body contouring can help you get rid of unwanted baggage by removing sagging fat and skin and improving the shape of the underlying tissue. This is often desirable after dramatic weight loss.

Our staff can explain the benefits and possible risks associated with various body contouring techniques, and help you determine which procedure is right for you.

CoolSculpting®, a unique, FDA-approved, non-surgical procedure, uses a targeted cooling process to freeze fat cells under the skin to eliminate stubborn fat deposits. Because it doesn’t freeze healthy tissue, your body doesn’t need time to heal.

CoolSculpting® is best performed on the chin, flanks, bra line, banana roll (fat below buttocks), upper abdomen, lower abdomen, arms, inner thighs, outer thighs, and knees.

The best candidates for CoolSculpting® have one-to-two inches or more of excess, stubborn fat in the areas being treated, that won’t go away with exercise and dieting.

Treatments for Breasts

Your breast size can affect everything from your self-confidence to your comfort. If you are considering a change to your current silhouette, we can help with a wide range of cosmetic and surgical services, including breast augmentation, breast reduction, and breast lift.

We also offer breast reconstruction to create a natural looking breast following mastectomy or lumpectomy. Depending on your preferences and health status, we may perform breast reconstruction during or after your cancer surgery.

Treatments for Hands

Hands and toes

Your hands hold the key, both literally and figuratively, to so many of life’s tasks. If you are faced with a hand injury or trauma, a birth deformity, brown spots, scarring or an infection, our team can help.

Hand surgery is among the most common reconstructive plastic surgery procedures. We offer procedures such as carpal tunnel and trigger finger release, tendon repair, and ganglion cyst removal to improve the function and appearance of the hand. We can perform many of these procedures in the comfort of our office under local anesthesia.
