The Lancaster General Health Experience
What to expect during thigh lift surgery
During your consultation, your cosmetic surgeon will discuss your goals, along with details about the procedure, which may include liposuction.
We will provide instructions on how to prepare for your surgery and help ensure a smooth procedure, including any foods, drinks and medications to avoid.
Thigh lift surgery is usually an outpatient procedure that takes place under general anesthesia. Following surgery, you will wear compression bandages to support your new contours through the healing process. We will coach you on how to lift your legs when seated and the importance of avoiding standing for extended periods.
You will experience some discomfort during the recovery process that can be managed with medications your surgeon prescribes.
Thigh lift cost
Depending on treatment goals and additional services you may undergo, the cost of a thigh lift varies. Your surgeon will discuss the cost of your thigh lift during your consultation.
Thigh lift surgery risks
All surgery comes with a risk of complications, although thigh lift surgery itself is typically very safe. Our team will check in with you throughout the healing process and is always available to address your questions and concerns.
