The Lancaster General Health Experience
Natural breast augmentation with fat transfer
During your pre-surgery consultation, your surgeon will determine if you qualify for natural breast augmentation. Because the procedure involves transferring fat, you need enough fat to make the procedure an option.
Because only about 50 percent of the fat transferred will survive after the procedure, your surgeon will transfer more fat than initially needed.
You will receive instructions on how to prepare for your surgery, including any foods, drinks and medications to avoid. Your surgeon also may order a mammogram for you, especially if you have a family history of breast cancer.
Breast augmentation cost
Breast augmentation cost varies based on your specific treatment goals and other services you may also undergo. We will discuss the cost during your consultation.
Natural breast augmentation risks
While fat grafting is typically safe, all surgery include a risk of complications, including infection and scarring. You can reduce those risks by carefully following your surgeon’s pre- and post-surgery instructions. Please ask us about any concerns you may have.
