The Lancaster General Health Experience
What to expect before, during and after a neck lift
Before your surgery, you will receive instructions about preparing for your neck lift. This includes foods, drinks and medications to avoid. Your care team also will share after-care instructions to speed your recovery.
Although neck lifts are an outpatient procedure, they do require anesthesia, so you will need to arrange for transportation home. We will provide instructions on how to care for your surgical site and let you know of complications to watch for. After your neck lift surgery, you’ll need to sleep in an elevated position for a few days. Most swelling or bruising should subside in two to three weeks.
Neck lift cost
Neck lift costs vary depending on your treatment goals and other services you may also undergo. At your consultation, we will discuss the cost of your neck lift.
Neck lift surgery risks
While typically safe, like with any surgery, neck risk surgery has risks for infection, bleeding and scarring. Following your care team’s pre- and post-operative instructions will help you avoid complications. Please reach out to us with any concerns you have during your recovery.
