After welcoming your new baby into the world, the first few weeks postpartum should be focused on rest, recovery, and bonding with your newborn. Most new mamas spend more time sitting or laying down than they’re used to—not to mention feeling constantly hunched over while feeding and holding your little one.
Because of this ‘new normal,’ your posture may feel out of alignment, and your upper back, neck, and hips might feel especially tight. The exercises in this video are extra gentle for brand new moms - and are focused on alleviating some of these common postpartum discomforts as well as helping you to start re-strengthening your core and pelvic floor. Congratulations, mama!
