Laser

Laser

A laser is a highly focused beam of light that is used to cut or destroy tissue during a medical procedure. Laser light cleans (sterilizes) and seals as it cuts tissue, which reduces bleeding, pain, and healing time.

Doctors and nurses may use a laser to treat many different conditions, such as those that affect the skin, eyes, and mouth.
