Instructions

Drink the medicine.

Measure the dose of liquid medicine carefully. Use the measuring device that comes with the medicine. If you do not have one, please ask your pharmacist for help.

If you are giving this medicine through a tube into the stomach, ask your doctor or pharmacist for specific directions.

Take this medicine on an empty stomach. Do not eat or drink for 1 hour after taking the medicine.

This medicine is usually taken in the morning after not eating overnight. Wait at least 8 hours after a high-fat meal, 6 hours after a low-fat meal, or 2 hours after a calorie supplement.

Mark your calendar to help you remember which days you should take this medicine. On the days you are scheduled to take it, take it at the same time of day.

Keep medicine at room temperature. Protect from light.

Store in original bottle, tightly closed and upright.

Shake the bottle well before using the medicine.

Throw the medicine away 15 days after opening the bottle, or 30 days from the date of shipment, whichever comes first.

It is important that you keep taking each dose of this medicine on time even if you are feeling well.

If you forget a dose, just wait. Use the next dose at the usual time. Do not use 2 doses at once.

Drug interactions can change how medicines work or increase risk for side effects. Tell your health care providers about all medicines taken. Include prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal medicines. Speak with your doctor or pharmacist before starting or stopping any medicine.
