Instructions

DO NOT take this medicine by mouth.

Clean and dry the area to be treated before applying the medicine.

Apply a thin layer to the affected area and rub it in.

Do not spray the medicine directly onto your skin or hands.

To keep the medicine from melting on your fingers, wash your hands with cold water and dry well before applying the medicine.

If the can is warm or the foam is runny, hold the can under cool, running water for a few minutes before using.

If you are using this medicine on the scalp or other hairy areas, move hair out of the way and apply as directly to the skin as possible.

Do not cover the area after applying the medicine.

Keep the medicine at room temperature. Avoid heat and direct light.

This medicine should only be used on the skin.

Do not apply other lotions, gels, creams or cosmetics for at least 30 minutes after using this medicine. It is best to avoid using these products on the affected area until you are done using this medicine.

Avoid getting the medicine in the eyes, nose, or mouth. Wash the medicine off your fingers after applying it.

Gently rub the medicine into area until evenly spread.

Avoid prolonged or excessive sunlight exposure. Use sunscreen lotion with SPF 15 or higher.

Wash your hands before and after handling this medicine.

Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth after handling the medicine.

If medicine gets in your eyes, rinse well with cool water.

Tell your doctor and pharmacist about all your medicines. Include prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal medicines.

Keep all appointments for medical exams and tests while on this medicine.

Do not freeze the medicine.

This medicine is flammable. Do not use it near heaters, open flame or while smoking. Do not crush, puncture, or burn container.

Do not take the medicine more than twice during 24 hours.

Cautions

Tell your doctor and pharmacist if you ever had an allergic reaction to a medicine.

Do not use the medication any more than instructed.

It is unknown if this medicine passes into breast milk. Ask your doctor before breastfeeding.

During pregnancy, this medicine should be used only when clearly needed. Talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits.

If you forget to take a dose on time, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, do not take the missed dose. Return to your normal schedule. Do not take 2 doses at one time.

Do not share this medicine with anyone who has not been prescribed this medicine.

Contact your doctor if your symptoms do not improve or worsens after 4 weeks of using this medicine.

Side Effects

  • burning or stinging
  • dry skin
  • skin irritation where medicine is applied

Call your doctor or get medical help right away if you notice any of these more serious side effects:

  • blistering or peeling of the skin
  • skin sores
  • increased risk of sunburn

A few people may have an allergic reaction to this medicine. Symptoms can include difficulty breathing, skin rash, itching, swelling, or severe dizziness. If you notice any of these symptoms, seek medical help quickly.
