This medicine is used for the following purposes:

  • local anesthesia
  • mouth pain
  • suppress gag reflex

Generic Name: Phenol

Instructions

Do not breathe in while spraying the medicine into your mouth.

Spray the medicine to the affected area in the mouth. Let the medicine stay in place for at least 15 seconds and then spit out.

Do not spray the medicine into or near your eyes.

Store at room temperature away from heat, light, and moisture. Do not keep in the bathroom.

Do not store the medicine in the refrigerator or freezer.

Drug interactions can change how medicines work or increase risk for side effects. Tell your health care providers about all medicines taken. Include prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal medicines. Speak with your doctor or pharmacist before starting or stopping any medicine.

Tell your doctor if symptoms do not get better or if they get worse.
