For ear infection.

Brand Name(s): Cetraxal

Generic Name: Ciprofloxacin

Instructions

It is best to have another person give the drops to get the full dose and to avoid contamination.

To reduce risk of dizziness, warm the bottle in your hand for 1-2 minutes before using it.

Lie on one side with the ear to be treated facing up.

After placing the drops in the ear, gently press the area in front of the ear canal to squeeze the ear canal open and closed a few times. This will help the drops get further into the ear.

Remain lying on side for about 1 minute. A cotton plug may be used to keep the drops in the ear. Remove the cotton after a few hours.

To avoid contaminating the medicine bottle, do not touch the tip of the dropper to the ear or any other surface.

Keep the medicine at room temperature. Avoid heat and direct light.
