For more than a decade, our Healthy Beginnings Plus and Nurse-Family Partnership teams have led efforts to collect donations of clothing and personal care items for the families they serve, and children who use our school-based health clinics at Fulton, Carter & MacRea and Washington elementary schools.

If you’d like to join in these efforts, donation boxes are located at the Suburban Pavilion Wellness Center (2nd floor), the Lancaster General Hospital cafeteria, Women & Babies Hospital Administrative office, and the BURLE information desk.

Items needed:

  • Diapers, all sizes
  • Wipes
  • Baby books (cloth or cardboard)
  • Layette sets
  • Clothing (sizes newborn to 2-Toddler)
  • Blankets
  • Gloves, scarves, coats for elementary school-aged children
  • Socks
  • Chapstick
  • Personal care items like toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, body wash
