Lancaster General Health has opened a fifth Urgent Care location, at 540 N. Duke St., in downtown Lancaster. The new Urgent Care is located in the Downtown Pavilion, across the street from Lancaster General Hospital.

Urgent Care offers quick, convenient diagnosis and treatment of minor injuries and common illnesses, including cold, sore throat, flu, ear pain, rash, fever, diarrhea, cuts, fractures or sprains. X-ray and laboratory services also are available on site.

“LG Health is pleased to offer Urgent Care services in downtown Lancaster,” said Stacey King, LG Health Director of Operations--Medical Specialty, Urgent Care and Pediatrics. “Our new location will provide a convenient option for patients who have minor injuries and illnesses that don’t require emergency care.”

Hours are 5 p.m. to midnight weekdays and 9 a.m. to midnight Saturdays and Sundays. Patients may walk in or check wait times and reserve a spot online and wait from the comfort of home, receiving a text message when it’s time to arrive at Urgent Care.

“Our downtown Urgent Care is open to provide care when your family doctor isn’t available, especially nights and weekends, when minor illnesses and injuries often occur,” King said.

LG Health has additional Urgent Care locations at Rohrerstown Road, Ephrata, Parkesburg and Lebanon.
