LG Health Opens Specialty Medicine Practice in Lititz

Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health has opened LG Health Physicians Specialty Medicine, at 51 Peters Rd. Lititz, PA, following a significant renovation to its Kissel Hill outpatient facility.
 
The specialty medicine practice allows a number of health care needs to be addressed at one convenient location. Specialists from five areas of medicine practicing together at the same location will deliver personalized care in a collaborative, patient-centered setting.  
 
The Specialty Medicine providers offer expert care in the following specialties:           

• Behavioral health
• Cardiology
• Diabetes and Endocrinology
• Geriatrics
• Pain management 

Each medical specialty is staffed by a physician or advanced practice provider on the LG Health medical staff. When selecting specialties to include in this unique and integrated model, LG Health evaluated unmet health care needs in the community and requests for services made by current patients. 
 
“The practice’s collaborative approach will increase care coordination and convenience for patients,” said Sean Reynolds, vice president of operations. “The multi-specialty environment allows the providers to operate as a collective group of unique specialties for patients with multiple health care needs.”
 
The specialty medicine practice is the final phase of the $8.9 million renovation project that began nearly a year ago and included the construction of an on-site pharmacy and an urgent care.  These new additions join an existing array of primary care, women’s health, pediatric, sports medicine, physical therapy, laboratory and imaging services that are already present in the facility.

Hours for the LG Health Physicians Specialty Medicine practice are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
