Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health announces changes to the LG Health Board of Trustees.

Dr. Daniel A. Wubah

Dr. Daniel A. Wubah, President of Millersville University, was appointed to the Board of Trustees for a three-year term. Dr. Wubah has been a dedicated professor, mentor, and scholar in the fields of microbiology and botany for over three decades. In addition to his roles in education, Dr. Wubah is very active in the community and beyond. He joined the boards of the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Lancaster County Community Foundation in January 2019, and is a member of several committees in professional organizations and national advisory boards.

Philip R. Wenger, president and CEO of the Lancaster County Conservancy and founder of Isaac’s Famous Grilled Sandwiches, has retired from service. During his tenure, Wenger served as Vice Chairperson and Chairperson of the Lancaster General Hospital and Lancaster General Health Boards. Wenger has also served as Chairperson of Board of Trustees of The Heart Group of Lancaster General Health and various Board Committees of Lancaster General Health, including service as Chairperson of the Mission & Community Benefit Committee.

Joanne B. Ladley, co-owner, Kitchen Kettle Village, has retired from service. During her tenure, Ladley served as the Vice Chairperson of the Lancaster General Health and Lancaster General Hospital Boards of Trustees, Chairperson of the LG Health Mission and Community Benefit Committee, Chairperson of Strategy Committee, and was a member of numerous other committees and affiliate boards, including the LG Health Executive Committee and the LG Health Governance Committee.

LG Health’s Board of Trustees consists of community and business leaders from throughout Lancaster County and surrounding communities. They volunteer their time and expertise, and provide vision to ensure that the healthcare services we deliver are consistently effective, safe and reflect the values and traditions of the communities of Lancaster. The board sets policies governing the operation of LG Health and oversees the work of six board committees.
