All outpatient cancer services at the Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute are open and available during the COVID-19 pandemic. While we are taking every precaution to help people stay healthy, avoid unnecessary trips out of the home, and maintain a distance from others, we want you to know that we are still here, on site, and welcoming all those who may be in need.
We are currently providing in-person, telephone, and video visits based upon personal preference and medical need. Please feel free to call your care team, your pod, or our main telephone number (717-544-9400) if you have any questions or have any need. Our doctors, nurses, social workers, chaplains, financial counselors, behavioral health counselors, and cosmetologists are all on site and ready to provide the high-quality, professional care you rely on and you deserve.
Our team has earned its reputation for its devotion to all that matters to our patients and their families. In addition to concerns related to cancer, you can count on us to closely monitor and address COVID-19 risk and symptoms, and the known interactions of the virus and cancer.
Lancaster General Health was here long before COVID-19, and we will be here long after. This community can do tough things together, and what everyone is being called upon to do now is tough. We know that. We take seriously our integration in this community. We show that by caring for each other and caring about each other.
We are thinking of you and we welcome your questions, your concerns, and your suggestions.
