Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital will partner with Elizabethtown Communities That Care, the Northwest Regional Police Department, Elizabethtown Police Department and Susquehanna Regional Police Department to observe National Prescription Take-Back Day on Oct. 24.
Disposal of unused and expired potentially lethal prescription drugs in a safe, convenient, and responsible setting will help prevent accidental poisonings and overdoses due to these drugs. Turning in prescription drugs is still free and anonymous, with no questions asked.
