Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health has opened a new outpatient center, Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Lincoln, at 101 Larkspur Lane, Ephrata. The 15,500-square-foot facility features relocated and expanded offices for LG Health Physicians Family Medicine Lincoln, as well as new outpatient services, including laboratory testing and physical therapy.
“Family Medicine Lincoln has proudly cared for patients in Ephrata and nearby communities since 2006,” said James M. Kelly, MD, Regional Medical Director, and Family Medicine Lincoln co-founder. “We are very pleased to open this expanded new location to offer convenient, comprehensive care and additional services for our patients.”
Family Medicine Lincoln cares for patients of all ages, emphasizing wellness and prevention, management of chronic conditions and timely care for illness or injury. As part of Penn Medicine, patients also receive direct access to advanced treatment options and an extensive array of specialty care.
Since opening 15 years ago, Family Medicine Lincoln’s team has expanded to five physicians and three advanced practice providers who see patients at two locations in Ephrata. In conjunction with the move, the existing office at 1635 W. Main St. will close. The office at 1261 Division Highway will remain open.
The new location, which is just off Route 322, will double the square footage of the existing Family Medicine Lincoln office, offering 18 patient rooms, as well as expanded registration and waiting areas, and increased parking. Hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays.
In addition, laboratory testing and EKG will open Oct. 11 at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Lincoln, offering walk-in and scheduled appointments. Most test results will be available within 24 hours, and patients may view results online through the MyLGHealth patient portal. Hours are 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays.
Also beginning Oct. 11, physical therapy services will offer a full array of therapeutic techniques for a variety of conditions, emphasizing a personalized, hands-on approach to care from a highly trained team. Hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays; and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays.
