The Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Foundation honored its 2020-2022 inductees into Societas Generalis during the annual recognition dinner on April 27. Thirteen new members were inducted in four areas of distinction: Excellence in Medicine, Excellence in Board Service, Excellence in Community Service & Volunteerism, and Excellence in Philanthropy.

Established in 2007, Societas Generalis honors trustees, physicians, philanthropists and community leaders who have made extraordinary contributions of service and commitment to the health and well-being of the Lancaster community. Over 125 members have been inducted to date.

The Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Foundation builds philanthropic relationships in the community to advance the mission of LG Health. The foundation also provides oversight for the fundraising activities for the Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute, the Lancaster Heart & Vascular Institute, the Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences, Women & Babies Hospital, the Suzanne H. Arnold Center for Breast Health, and other LG Health entities.
