Each year, the Nightingale Awards of Pennsylvania honor exceptional nurses practicing in the Commonwealth. This year, Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health was proud to have two nurses represent the health system – one as a winner and one as a finalist – at the awards gala held Oct. 28 in Harrisburg.

Angela Robinson, MSN, RN, NE-BC, was the winner in the Nursing Administration – Leader/Manager category. The category honors nurse leaders who influence the quality of patient care with a focus on infrastructure support and positive clinical outcomes. Robinson is the Magnet Program Manager.

Eric Piasecki, MSN, RN, ACCNS-AG, CCRN, TCRN, SCRN, was a finalist in the Advanced Practice RN category. The award honors nurses for providing outstanding quality of patient care, superior clinical skills and extraordinary compassion. Exceptional communication skills enhance their contribution to the health needs of the community while advancing the profession. Piasecki is a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Nursing Professional Development.
