CHOP Billing and Patient Information

If your child receives care from a Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) physician in the Emergency Department (ED) or Pediatric Unit at Lancaster General Hospital, the bill that is sent to you and your insurance provider for physician services will be from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. This also applies to services provided by CHOP physicians at Women & Babies Hospital, including the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

You and your insurance provider will also be sent a bill from Lancaster General Hospital for the hospital services that were provided (as well as any services by LG Health physicians).

Services provided by CHOP outpatient specialists will be billed by CHOP.
