Mr. Welch provides executive leadership for Lancaster General Health’s financial operations and strategies. He works collaboratively with the LGH executive team and Penn Medicine to advance strategic priorities in a financially sustainable manner.
Prior to joining LG Health in 2023, Mr. Welch served as the Director of Financial Planning and Budget at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Prior to Johns Hopkins, Mr. Welch held previous positions as CFO at Health Care for the Homeless in Baltimore, MD and an Administrative Director of Finance within Bon Secours Mercy Health System in Richmond, VA. Collectively, Mr. Welch brings more than 15 years of healthcare experience leading finance and operations teams.
Mr. Welch holds both an undergraduate degree in psychology and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Richmond.
