Double Knee Replacement

Increasing knee pain from osteoarthritis was keeping Dianne from the activities she loved and making her job as a waitress challenging.

“At the end of a night of work, I could hardly walk to the car. And when I got home, I could hardly get out of the car. The quality of my life had really plummeted.”

The active 53-year-old mother of four chose to have two total knee replacements, six weeks apart, at the LG Health Orthopaedic Center.

Today she is back to doing what she loves—participating in activities with her family, gardening, and enjoying her work and the customers she serves.

“I forget what it used to be like when I couldn’t do things,” Dianne said. “I can basically do everything I want to do. The pain is completely gone. It’s wonderful.”
