Although Eric Maxwell was just 46, a deteriorating hip was making everyday things like putting on his shoes and going for walks increasingly painful. Plus, the avid backpacker was finding it more and more difficult to enjoy one of his favorite pastimes.
Eric knew it was time to take action and opted to have hip replacement surgery at the LG Health Orthopaedic Center.
“Everyone was so nice,” said Eric. “Anytime I needed anything, the nurses were there. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.”
Eric took advantage of the opportunity to have someone from the Orthopaedic Center visit his home prior to the surgery to make sure all was safe and convenient for his recovery. He also enjoyed of some holistic therapies like massage and aromatherapy to enhance his healing.
Now he’s back in step, doing all the things he used to do...minus the pain.
